Fort Saskatchewan police are searching for a knife-wielding robber who made off with numerous over-the-counter drugs from a Rexall pharmacy. As the man held the knife in his right hand, he demanded OxyContin and morphine pills form the clerk. Witnesses say he was in his early twenties, about 175 pounds and at least six feet tall. Alan Davis, a 28-year-old man from Mineral Wells, TX, faces two charges of aggravated robbery and one charge of attempted aggravated robbery after making the classic mistake of returning to the scene of the crime, police said. Police say Davis successfully robbed a Walgreens in Weatherford in June and another Walgreens in Mineral Wells in July, but returning to the Weatherford pharmacy was his ultimate mistake.

Police said Davis covering his head and face, wore a sling, used a crutch, and displayed a gun during the first robbery, as he made off with an undisclosed amount of OxyContin. Later, authorities determined he was faking his injuries. In his following robberies, he claimed to have a gun, yet never showed it, and made off with no more than 30 OxyContin pills from each location. Twenty-four-year-old Jacquelyn Ford was charged with driving the getaway vehicle.
